Airline excess baggage fees are expensive. Send the extra suitcases and boxes as air cargo instead — with a quote based on chargeable weight — and collect them in Sylhet or Dhaka.
Two ways to send your belongings
Unaccompanied baggage
You are travelling yourself and your extra bags follow as cargo. Bring your ticket or booking details — airlines and Bangladesh customs link unaccompanied baggage to a passenger’s journey, and proof of travel is normally required at the Bangladesh end.
Personal effects (you’re not travelling)
Sending belongings to family, or shipping ahead of a move. The cargo travels on its own air waybill and the sender does not need to fly. We record sender and receiver ID details for customs at booking.

What to bring to the office
- Your suitcases or boxes — we weigh and measure everything in front of you
- Sender’s passport or ID, and the receiver’s name, address, phone and NID/passport details
- Your flight booking, if the baggage is following your own journey
- A simple list of what’s inside each piece (we’ll help you write it)
Suitcases travel fine as cargo but must be locked or strapped; boxes should be strong double-wall cartons taped on every seam. See the packing guide. Batteries, aerosols and perfumes must be declared — see restricted items.
Questions
Is cargo cheaper than airline excess baggage?
Usually, especially above one or two extra bags, because cargo is charged per kilo rather than per piece. Ask for a quote with your weights and compare it with your airline’s excess baggage price — we’ll tell you honestly if the airline is cheaper for a single small bag.
Will my bags arrive on the same flight as me?
Not guaranteed. Cargo moves on cargo space and depends on airline space and clearance; we tell you the planned flight. Plan to collect from the airport cargo terminal after you land, or use our agent for delivery.
Can I send my whole household when moving back?
Yes. Larger moves are quoted as a consolidated air cargo shipment. Tell us roughly how many boxes and what’s inside, and whether you’d like door delivery in Bangladesh.
