We take the freight side off your hands
Losing someone is hard enough without a list of airline and paperwork requirements to work through. Our part is the transport: confirming the route and the airline’s requirements, booking the air freight, preparing the freight documents, and keeping you, the funeral director, the airline and the person receiving in Bangladesh in step with each other.
We handle repatriation from the United Kingdom to Bangladesh. We do not handle cremated remains, and we do not arrange the funeral or the burial.

Care and preparation

- Provides the appropriate coffin, embalming where required and the relevant preparation certificates
- Handles funeral-director responsibilities and the relevant authority processes

Call, message on WhatsApp or send the private enquiry form. Tell us where the deceased is now and the destination in Bangladesh.

Preparation
Our appointed funeral director, or yours, collects the deceased and carries out the care, coffin and certification required for air transport.

We book the freight
We confirm the route and the airline’s requirements, book the air freight and prepare or coordinate the air waybill and freight documents.

Requirements checked
We check the transport requirements are met and follow up anything the airline or an authority still needs.

Arrival
We coordinate with the receiving party in Bangladesh and keep you informed until the flight has arrived.
What we need to know to assess a case

- Whether a coroner or another authority is currently involved
- Whether you already have a funeral director, or would like us to use ours
- The name, address and telephone number of the person receiving in Bangladesh
- Your own contact details and the best way to reach you
Documentation and authority requirements vary from case to case. We confirm exactly what is needed for your case once we know these details, rather than handing you a general checklist to work through on your own.
What affects cost and timing
Route and airline
Availability on direct and connecting services to Dhaka and Sylhet changes day to day, and airlines differ in what they require.
Preparation required
The funeral director’s charges depend on the care, coffin and certification the case needs.
Weight and dimensions
Air freight is charged on the chargeable weight and the dimensions of the consignment.
Authority clearance
Where a coroner or another authority is involved, their process sets the earliest date the journey can start.
We give you a figure for the freight in writing and tell you plainly which costs sit with the funeral director rather than with us. We never ask for card details by phone or email.
Cultural and religious considerations
Many families need the journey to happen quickly so that burial can take place without delay, and want it handled by people who understand why. We are an East London business and most of the families we work with are British Bangladeshi. You can speak to us in Bengali, and we will keep the detail with whichever member of the family you want us to deal with.
If your family has particular requirements for how the deceased is prepared or handled, tell us at the start. We will pass them to the funeral director and check what the airline allows.
Questions families ask
Do you handle ashes or cremated remains?
No. We do not handle cremated remains.
Can we use our own funeral director?
Yes. You can use your own funeral director or the funeral director we appoint. Either way, we handle the freight.
Do you arrange the funeral or the burial?
No. We are the freight forwarder. The funeral director provides the care and preparation needed for the flight, and the funeral or burial is arranged separately.
How quickly can the journey start?
It depends on the preparation the funeral director needs to complete and on any authority clearance. Once we know the details of the case we tell you the earliest realistic date rather than a general estimate.
Can we come to the office?
Yes. We are at Unit 4, 1–11 Assembly Passage, London E1 4UT, with parking for drop-off and collection. Open Monday to Friday 10:00–18:00 and Saturday 10:00–17:00.
