East End Logistics is an IATA accredited air cargo agent and freight forwarder in London E1, established 2009. We move commercial cargo from the UK to Bangladesh and worldwide, clear customs at both ends through our own team and appointed agents, and take on the specialist work — transit under T1 and dangerous goods — that general parcel firms turn away.
Commercial air freight
Export consignments from the UK to Dhaka, Sylhet and Chittagong, and to other destinations on request. We book directly with airlines as an IATA agent, arrange security screening, prepare the master and house air waybills and export declaration, and hand over to our Bangladesh agent for clearance and delivery.

What a quote covers
Every quotation states the chargeable weight, the airline freight, UK handling and screening, documentation, and any collection — and what is excluded: destination charges, duties and taxes, and insurance unless you ask us to arrange it. No hidden lines.
UK and Bangladesh customs clearance
UK side
Export declarations for air cargo leaving the UK, including the commodity codes, values and licences the declaration needs. We tell you up front which documents you must supply (commercial invoice, packing list, EORI, and any licence or certificate for controlled goods) and which we prepare.
Bangladesh side
Import clearance at Dhaka, Sylhet and Chittagong is handled through our appointed agent in Bangladesh, working within the current NBR framework. We brief you on the importer registration, documents and typical duty treatment for your goods before shipment, to help you prepare the required paperwork.
Duty and tax amounts are set by the customs authority, not by us. We give you an informed indication and never a guarantee.
T1 transit
T1 is a customs transit procedure that lets non-UK/non-Union goods move under customs control without paying import duty until they reach their destination customs office. It is not an express product — it is a controlled movement with a declaration, a guarantee and defined start and end offices.
Who it’s for: freight forwarders, hauliers, customs brokers and shippers moving goods in transit through the UK or onward to the EU, or receiving goods that must stay under bond until clearance.
To assess a T1 request we need: the movement (from which office of departure to which office of destination), the goods and their customs status, values, timing, the documents already raised, and which elements you want us to arrange — the declaration, guarantee, transport coordination or all three. We confirm scope in writing before we start.
Dangerous goods by air
Lithium batteries, aerosols, perfumes, paints, chemicals, engines and many everyday products are dangerous goods under the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations. They can often fly — but only when correctly classified, packed, marked, labelled and documented, and only with airline acceptance. Undeclared dangerous goods are found at screening, held and re-labelled at your cost, and can lead to fines.
For a dangerous goods assessment, send us: the product name and use, UN number and class if known, the Safety Data Sheet (SDS), quantity per package and total, packaging, and the route. A trained member of staff checks acceptance and tells you what packing, labelling and documents apply before we book anything. We do not give a generic “yes” to hazardous items.
Commercial shipping accounts
Regular exporters get a named contact, agreed rates, streamlined bookings and consolidated invoicing. Tell us your typical volumes and destinations and we’ll propose an account. Credit terms are agreed in writing and subject to our trading terms.
Dangerous goods
Have you declared it?
Cargo containing dangerous goods is subject to national and international regulation. Such cargo must be properly declared and clearly identified as containing dangerous goods.
More everyday items count than people expect. Aerosols, paint, perfume and nail varnish, lighters and matches, camping gas and gas cylinders, fuel cans, power tools, car batteries, lithium batteries and power banks, magnets, cleaning and pool chemicals, fireworks and ammunition are all regulated in some form.
If you think something in your shipment might be on that list, tell us before you pack it. We are an IATA accredited agent: a member of staff checks it against the current regulations, tells you whether it can travel, and prepares the declaration and documentation if it can. Undeclared dangerous goods can be refused at the airport, and the liability sits with the consignor.
